History

The 10th Infantry Brigade was a formation of the Royal Hungarian Army that participated in the Axis invasion of Yugoslavia during World War II. Formed in January 1939 as a brigade, it was later renamed as the 10th Light Division during Operation Barbarossa and later renamed again as the 10th Infantry Division starting August 1943.

The division was encircled and destroyed during the battle of Budapest
